Frequently Asked Questions
Why hire PAWS?
We are an affordable and convenient solution to keeping up with what your pet leaves behind.
We dispose fecal matter in accordance with city and county ordinances. Perhaps, most importantly, we care about animals. We are trained to observe pet waste for any abnormalities, and if directed, will bring stool samples to your vet clinic for examination.

A regular visit from Professional Animal Waste Solutions means you'll have more time to enjoy your pet(s). You'll be ensured a healthier lawn and litter box which in turn means a healthier home for you and your family.
How often will you clean my yard (or litter box)?
Most of our customers choose to have waste removed once a week; however, we clean as often or as little as you prefer. Some customers may want waste removed twice a week or twice a month. Other customers may only want waste removed prior to special occasions.
Can you work with dog(s) in the yard?
Yes. We like dogs. Being around them each day is a perk of our work. We appreciate an opportunity to meet with you and your dog prior to starting visits to ensure we'll be welcomed in to your dog's territory. If we arrive to your property and your dog won't allow us in, we still charge for our services.
Are there any additional charges for initial clean ups?
If there appears to be more than two weeks of fecal accumulation or if service has been suspended with a dog at home for more than two weeks, we may require additional charge to update and freshen up your lawn.
Are there any contracts to sign?
No. We can start and stop services over the phone. We do not require a contract or minimum service period. We do request a courtesy call at least 24 hours in advance if there is a change in schedule or a need to cancel a visit.
Do I need to unlock my gate?
We are a courteous of your property and privacy, and in the spirit of that professionalism, we prefer not to climb or jump over fences. We will need access to your yard if you are not at home, but we are open to any arrangement that suits your family.
What if I want to skip a service day or suspend service?
Skipping a visit from PAWS is an acceptable request, provided we have 24 hours notice. A phone call to our office will ensure that we take you off the schedule and not charge your account.
If you forget to call and we find the gate is locked, or if your dog won't let us in, we still charge for our services.
If you need to suspend services for an extended amount of time, you will not be charged provided we are given proper notice. Once service is resumed, we will need to determine if initial clean up services and fees are required to update and freshen up your lawn.
Are you insured?
Yes. We are fully insured for unforeseen accidents or occurrences.

We work under all weather conditions. If heavy rainfall, lightning, or significant snowfall prevents us from cleaning up your property on your scheduled service day, we will do our best to visit your property within a reasonable window of time.
If weather inhibits us from getting to your property at all during a specific week, you will not be charged for missed service.
Do you work on holidays?
Just like you, we prefer to spend time with our families and pets on the following holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. If your regularly scheduled day of service falls on one of these days, we will visit either before or after the holiday.
How and when is payment required?
PAWS accepts cash, checks, and credit cards. We mail invoices on the 30th of the month to our weekly clients. Payments are due on the 15th of the following month. Account balances not paid in full will incur a 10% per month late fee. All returned checks are subject to a $30 service fee.
